Well on Monday I got Lasik surgery, and I can see! Today is the first day I can use the computer, so I decided to Blog about it :) Well first they scanned my cornea with this cool machine and made sure that it was thick enough, and they said that my cornea(s) were so perfect that if my eyes were food, they would be a fillet mignon, so we decided to proceed. They first had me lay down on this table and they put these suction cup things on my eyes it felt like my eyes were going to be sucked out of my skull! then they told me to look at this blinking light, and I couldn't even see, I thought I was going to pass out. I couldn't tell what was going on really, but they said thats where they cut my cornea. Then I had to get up and walk to the next room and I couldn't see a thing! so my mom escorted me to the next room. In there they put these metal things on my eyelids to keep them propped open, and they hurt like a rug burn on your butt when you have to sit through sacrament meeting. Anyway, they put these drops in my eyes so I didn't try to blink, cause that would be all sorts of bad. Then they told me to look at this blinking light thing, and I couldn't even see a blinking light. . . .so I just looked straight ahead and tried not to move. Well they said everything went great and gave me a million drops to put in my eyes everyday. But when I got home, I found this in my eye!
A big red, bloody thing! The next day I went to the doctor and he said that when they were trying suck my eye balls out of my skull, they accidentally popped a blood vessle, so it's like a bruise on my eye, and should go away in a few days. It sure scared me though!

Aw, it's like when they put a cone on a dog :) lol, that's all pretty gruesome actually
That was disgustingly descriptive.
Wow, you are so much braver than I am. I've been glad my vision isn't so bad so I don't have to face that decision. I can't stand the thought of knifes in my eyeballs. Glad everything went well!
