My Birthday/ Christmas Present From Eric

Well Eric sent me a late Birthday present but an early Christmas present, he decided to send it to me because he wanted to give me my Birthday present but found out how expensive it was he decided to wait for the half way mark of my Birthday and Christmas and he wanted me to get my Christmas present before I went into the MTC.

Basically it was full of candy and those Zelda sound drops. He did however give me some karate uniform and a Kamono (however you spell it, those Japanese robe things) :) and these are just some totally awesome pictures of when I recieved my gift :)

I know, I know, everyone has been saying that I need to be a karate clothes model and go to Japan and strut my stuff

I'm just sick of looking at you

Well I decided to write a post because i'm not tired and have nothing else to do, and i'm sick of lookin at what i'm thankful for! it's nice and all, but everytime I look at my blog . . . it doesn't change, so I figured I would change the background a bit and get a new post out there! I don't know what I am going to talk about except the only thing that is on my mind :)

My Mission! I only have 2 weeks and a day. . . or so, and boy am I excited! For the first time I am actually excited to get to bed and read my scriptures :) I am praying every morning and every night for the first time in my life and I feel like I am becoming such a nice person! (and humble too!)
My sleeping habits are finally starting to turn around, I woke up at 9:30 this morning and did some work! Everyone wanted to take a picture, but they didn't so I will just put this ugly one on instead.

Anyway, this is my last normal week of real life, i'm a wee bit sad but mostly EXCITED!!! I still feel a little unprepared, but everyone says that the MTC will crush me and kick my butt anyway, so I figure, why should I be any different? It's okay to be a little unprepared :)

Now insted of seeing things I am thankful for, I get to see this picture of me for the next few days, weeks, months or years :) Hee Hee

So there once was this horse who loved oats, he ate oats all the time and he wouldn't eat anything else becasue he loved the oats so much! well one day he was sold into bondage and this new farmer only fed him hay, at first he was so discouraged and bewildered, but that was all he had to eat, so he finally started eating it and liking it! He loved hay so much, he thought, "how could I ever eat those oats?" Just as he got used to liking hay, the old farmer bought him back. The old farmer fed him oats and he forgot how much he loved them! so he ate them from that day forward. . . The End (Yes, I know that too many oats cause a horses hoofs to split and get mis-shaped)

I relate this made up fantasy story to me, I am the horse and I am here eating oats with my family and friends in Spanish Fork! however when I get out on a mission I will be eating hay, then I come home and eat oats again :) That is how my life goes, and when I wrote this story I thought of that drink "Mate" (Mah-tay) or however you spell it. The drink with the wierd straws and you drink them out of strange cups, well anyway, that is pretty much like eating hay, how literal :)

If you are still reading this post, obviously you have found out that I have nothing better to do and you are loosing IQ points. Tuning out, this is Alan Bushman, thanks for letting me waste your time :)

Halloween for Challenged

Well it's been forever since I have done a post, partially because I have been sick, but you all know that that is a lame excuse for me :) Nothing ever really happens to a poor, unemployed, illiterate child. So for Halloween I dressed up as a Sexy Mexy! I tried to find my robin hood shirt but it was nowhere to be found. This costume showed me what I am going to grow up to be if I don't do something with my life :)

I did some Trick or Treating but I mainly just serenaded my wonderful neighbors and wrote songs about how wonderful they were. I could only play Choose the Right and Ole McDonald, so most of my songs went to that tune with lyrics that went something like, "Nada cooks good food, so I eat it and I don't starve, yum, yum, yum, it warms me to the soul! Nada likes it when sexy mexy's sing for her. When it is on Halloween night! Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat! The sugar goodness will fill you up! Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat! and I will not burn your house down for some candy." (Tune choice - Choose the Right) I am obviously really good, so of course they gave me some candy :) other than that I didn't have a very eventful night. The End
